Our tour guide Urban Soban was excellent. Collette always has wonderful, reasonably priced tours. To choose just one memorable experience is difficult. The dinner on the Eiffel tower on my daughter's birthday was certainly one. The Eiffel Tower had to be the greatest highlight as it is just a magnificent piece of architecture and our dining in the restaurant, then climbing the stairs back down to the ground, was an experience my kids and I will never forget. The tour through Windsor Castle was magnificent. The city tour throughout Paris took my breath away. The history and architecture, adorned by all of the Christmas decorations made the entire trip a true bucket list memory.

You took me all the places I dreamed for a long time. I loved Paris especially. Champs-Elysees, Louvre Musium, Seine River dinner cruise, Montmartre Basilica, the view from Montmartre of entire Paris, Versailles and Eiffel Tour dinner were the placesvthe Collette Tour took me in a short time. I truly enjoyed the Paris so much.

It was great!!!! Just not for me. First time doing a guided tour and I prefer to do things on my own time without the hustle and bustle of time management. It would have been a better experience if I had received the itinerary earlier to fill in the gaps at a more affordable rate. When the tour guide’s schedule changed we took a private tour to Stonehenge. Ray with Black Taxi was EXCELLENT. Personable, accommodating and a pure joy to tour with.

Too many drive by the sights instead of an actual visit. I slipped and fell when the driver from our Paris night tour didn’t take us to the hotel but rather across the square during a rain storm and the pavement was very slippery!

This Collette tour was not of the superior quality of past tours I’ve taken with Collette. I do hope first time travelers with Collette do not judge this experience as being one of poor quality. Past tours really set the bar at a higher level. This tour did not meet my expectations.

For many sights we just drove by. Did not go in Westminster Abby, didn’t see Buckingham Palace, stayed so close to the Tower of London but did not go see the Crown Jewels. We went to a beautiful restaurant famous for Beef Wellington but we couldn’t order it for dinner. This was just in London. Paris was a little better.

Demonstrating and a bomb threat while touring Versailles which required us to leave with military presence, made it stressful to regroup the tour. The Cabaret show in Paris was horrible.. seating was too close and the food awful!. Windsor Castle and Tower of London were great and our early arrival on our own let us walk the streets of London taking in many sites . The steps leading down to the Seine River were very dark to see going down, one of our fellow travelers fell.

Not enough included activities, made us have to give up our luggage and belongings 2 days before arriving in Paris..totally ridiculous and very inconvenient. The choice of most restaurants were terrible, only decent restaurant was the Eiffel Tower one.

Yes, when we arrived in London, our transportation to the hotel was not there. I called multiple phone numbers and finally reached our travel service, he indicated I was not on his scheduled pickup. I ended up taking a taxi after waiting for 90 minutes. We also had to change hotel rooms in Paris on three separate occasions because of a lack of air conditioning. This was very inconvenient, and without any adjustment to our pricing,

My first excursion with Collett also my first to London and Paris lived up to my expectations. A list of names and states of the group would have help meeting people in the group. Our tour manager was available to all did her best to appease the few helpful to ones that needed the attention. The balance between guided tours and free time was just right. In London our hotel was in walking distance of many historical sites. Touring Windsor Castle ang then all the little shops below Windsor made for an enjoyable day. In Paris, so many memorable moments; the guided tour of the Louve, and dinner in the Eiffel Tower. But my most memorable moment was the evening cruise on the Seine River and the view of the Eiffel Tower at night, especially at 10pm, when something magical happens. A separate set of lights on the tower start to twinkle like stars. Just breathtaking.!!!

The majority of the trip was excellent, but I have three separate problems 1 the night of the first dinner , the food was awful. At my back there was a high bar. Bartender broke a glass causing glass shards to go down my back, inside and outside my dress. I jumped up and my seat makes helped me remove shards. I was fine. No one apologized-restaurant or Benn 2. People end of evening I’ll I was still upset and forgot my phone ion the table. I told Benn when we were riding back to hotel. He told me to hop in cab across the street and go back and get it I took cab back with a friend and it was ok. I feel he should have taken cab and I could have paid for it —- not safest choice 3. At Versaille , my Vox battery was dead within 20 minutes I was in tjj hi ousands of people. I volunteer find the group and had no way to communicate. After looking fo 30 minutes I had no choice but to locate bus and have him call Benn Suggestion:.have Benn stay a predetermined spot for emergencies Request:full cash refund gor Versaille tour

Our ride from the airport in London was late. We looked all over for a sign with our names. Finally, we located her. No sign. In London we went to Westminister Castle - that was a waste of money. We saw Queen Mary's doll house - one room with a king's bed and a room with paintings. The Chapel was closed because it was Sunday. In Paris loved the Cabaret, dinner at the Eiffel Tower. Then this is where the tour turned bad. We went to the Louve. We were split into two groups. Our group had a guide who spoke very poor English - people with and without hearing aids could not understand her. She spent long periods of time on one statue. So here comes the real bummer. We all wanted to see the Mona Lisa - that's why we signed up for the tour. Well, our guide took a vote - did we want to stand in line to see it. We all voted yes. Evidently, she didn't want to stand in line - she took us right by it - trying to get pictures of it on our way thru 4 rows of people. The more I think about it - the angrier I get. This is a once in a life time trip. The one thing you want to see most and you are walked right by it at a distance. The other group got to see it up close - their guide spoke great English -she stood in line to see the Mona Lisa. They had a great time. That kinda marked the trip - very poor for me. Now when people ask about my trip - what comes up first - the Mona Lisa - not the Cabaret or the Eiffel Tower. It is really too bad that one guide can destroy a trip like it did. I blame Collette for this - why? they should have an itinerary for their guides. They are the people we paid. We would have been better off going on our on to the Louve - spend the amount of time seeing what we wanted to see. It was a rushed tour - we had the afternoon off - we all would have liked to stay longer. We were told we could stay longer but we would be on our own to get back to the hotel.

A good introduction to London and Paris, skimming the highlights.

Our tour guide, Collette was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and funny. The trip itself was a good introduction to London and Paris, skimming the highlights. We could have easily left off the Caberet show and done something much more enjoyable, like strolling the Champs-Elysees at night or more evening free time. The show was okay, but a very loud venue. It really should have been and option.

Do I really need to call about the show’s quality?

This would have been a 5 star review if I had not had to go to the Paradis Latin dinner show. The show bordered on the burlesque side. It was very lewd and the volume in the theater was deafening. I was miserable plus could not eat the raw Chateaubriand. I would highly suggest that this be offered as an optional excursion. I would have had a much lovelier evening walking Paris with my husband than having to watch partially nude women parade around for three hours. From now on, we will ask what kind of show will be offered. The sad part about this is that this was included in the cost of the tour of which we will not be reimbursed. We are going on another tour on 29 November 2019 and having to attend a theater performance. To say the least I will be calling to find out what we will be seeing.

What a great way to see London and Paris!

This London/Paris trip had just the right amount of planned itinerary and free time. Highlights of both cities were made so easy for us to see and experience. Our tour guide, Colette Dennison, the hotel staff and our drivers were so attentive and always prepared. Having airport pick up and delivery is a wonderful worry free beginning and end to these well planned adventures.

Excellent Guided Tour - Saw All The Important Sites.

The tour city bus service always being there and on time for us made the tour easy. I never thought about transfers because they were so automatic that I never thought about them. Our overall tour guide was personable and wonderful to all of us. Individual site tour guides were all well informed and helped to educate us about each site. The breakfast and supper meals we had were all really great. Having breakfast arranged for us each morning saved major amounts of time if we would have had to find a place to eat each morning. The lodging facilities were all very good. The Eurostar train from London to Paris was amazing!

We've toured with Globus and Insight for land tours and with NCL, Royal Caribbean and Avalon for cruises. We had several people rave about Collette. Overall, our experience was good, but did not really distinguish itself from the others. When I look at the different experiences I've had, it seems to be a case of each one having different strengths and weaknesses. Where Collette excels is customer service. We misplaced one of our travel packets and they were kind enough to FedEx a replacement. Our group of 42 people had a wide range of ages - probably 4 or 5 in their 40’s, and a fairly even distribution of those in their 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s and a few in their 80’s. As the trip went on, it became obvious that the pace was a struggle for the older individuals. Mirza, our guide, born in Sarajevo and living in Rome since his youth, was on the verge of 34 years old. Mirza was quite friendly, personable and willing to be very helpful; however, his experience is with youth groups and I don’t think he has the skills or experience yet to deal with older adults. Our Malaysian guide for the Eiffel Tower and Duncan, our guide at Westminster Abbey were terrific as was our Louvre guide. All possessed knowledge and really enhanced the experience. One small point – if the trip is to Paris and then London, why is the trip called London/Paris? It added to some confusion in trip planning.

Thurs. Sept. 19 Landed on time. Took about an hour to get to baggage for pickup. Lack of signage to explain you cleared customs first and got luggage at the very end made it a bit confusing. Got to Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel around 12:30 and we were pleased our room was ready. We attempted to nap during afternoon but weren’t that successful. The hotel was very nice, comfy beds, great in-room coffee, lots of ports and a very large TV. The only negative is that it’s off the beaten path and not really close to the heart of the city or the major tourist attractions. Met in lobby for Opening Dinner and a night at the Paradis Latin. The cabaret show went from 8:00-11:15; way too long for most of us who did not sleep on plane and were going on over 30 hours of no sleep. We thought we were done after the first set at 9:30. First night should be an opening dinner and that’s it. My beef bourguignon was rubbery and a real challenge to cut. Fri. Sept. 20 Bus tour of Paris comprised the morning. Tour guide was very knowledgeable with respect to the artwork and the political machinations behind how they were infused with Greek mythology to make Louis IX appear to be on par with the gods. Sat. Sept. 21 Long and busy day. In the morning we did the optional tour of the Louvre. For me, the value of an organized trip is being able to have timed tickets and not have to wait hours to get in. Tour guide here was also good. Back to hotel for another quick break before going to Eiffel Tower and dinner cruise on the Seine. Our Malaysian Eiffel Tower tour guide was extremely personable. This visit wasn’t managed well. The group got split into two elevator trips to observation deck. Being in the second one, we had less than 10 minutes to look around and get pictures. That’s absurd. Dinner cruise was nice. We were supposed to have dinner on Eiffel Tower but a switch had to be made. This was actually a better activity. Food better, but nothing exceptional. Accompaniment was keyboards, guitar and female singer. They were fine. Sun. Sept. 22 We ate breakfast and then got on the bus to go to the EuroStar train which would take us under the English Channel to London in 2 ½ hours. Once at the train station in Paris, things got disorganized. I believe we were told to remain on the bus; however, people started getting off the bus and no one stopped us from doing that. We watched as other buses came, luggage was put on carts and taken to the train. Eventually our luggage was removed from the bus and taken away. We eventually arrived at the Leonardo Royal Tower Bridge Hotel which was also a great hotel. This one is in a great location - less than a ½ mile from the Tower of London. The room was very big, very comfy bed, couch, nice bathrobes. Not as many ports and a much smaller TV screen. The concierge desk would assist if asked but certainly did not go out of their way. Fortunately, our bus driver told us to go to them to get a 20% discount card for a meal at the Mayfair Chippy, a great mall chain of restaurants with very good fish and chips. Mon. Sept. 23 Breakfasts were better here - salmon, omelette station and individual sunny-side up eggs already prepared. Morning was a bus trip through the City of London. We got out and walked around Buckingham Palace to see the brigade marching there to take up their guard post. We drove by them back at the barracks bathing their horses. We had a lunch break at Harrod’s. The group broke up in the afternoon. We went to Westminster Abbey while others went to the Churchill War Rooms. Our guide was Duncan, who also is an actor. He was the best guide of the trip - very knowledgeable, engaging and a lot of fun! Seeing the prominent people buried and/or with memorials there - Oliver Cromwell, Wm Shakespeare, Stephen Hawking - was pretty impressive! Tues. Sept. 24 We took the optional trip to Windsor Castle. Up until this day, we had been very fortunate with the weather. In fact, Saturday in Paris was sunny and around 80 degrees. This was our day for erratic weather - torrential downpours followed by sunshine. London traffic is almost as bad as Rome, so it took a while to get to the castle. Mirza, our tour guide, was out of his element here. He said there was an outdoor introductory tour that would take us to the grounds where we could take either a historic or ceremonial tour - both inside the staterooms. We went to the meeting point for the outside tour waiting in the rain for their guide to show up. Mirza made inquiries and was told they’d be there. We waited for 15 minutes after the start time and, with no guidance from anyone, we bagged it and went to the stateroom tour which leads you sequentially through both the historic and ceremonial tours (i.e., they are not separate options as we were told - it’s one seamless tour). We got back midafternoon and had a little over an hour to rest up before our farewell dinner at Brasserie Blanc. Unfortunately, it was a bad way to end the tour. The waiters were totally disorganized, we were packed in like sardines even though three people did not show up, and the food was mediocre at best. Many were upset we had to walk ½ mile to get there, but traffic would take forever. One couple took a cab and they were the last to get there. Mirza handed us survey forms to complete with our names on them and no envelopes. That did not sit well with us. We are accustomed to the provision of envelopes and the option for anonymity.

We seemed to have multiple bus drivers and tour guides equaling multiple tipping – While the tour guide got up at 3am for some folks to depart – he left before more than half the tour were able to leave

Time in Paris too short. The excursion dinner for local flavor was horrible. The tour group was led to a basement which looked like a cave while the restaurant upstairs was set up lovely with not one guest while we were there. $110.00 wasted when I could have been shopping or doing something else.

Perfect Holiday!!

The dedication of our tour manager, Sharon Peniman, was very didicated and conscientious with a wonderful sense of humor. Both of our hotels in London and Paris were very nice and in great locations. All of the included meals were delicious. The itinerary was packed with all the sights we wanted to see and things we wanted to do with just enough free time to explore a little.

Great tour and local guides!

Becky went above and beyond. Helped me with making a local call and then spoke with the airline on my behalf due to problem with lost luggage. She was incredible patient with somewhat trying group members, yet managed to nake things fun for all of us. -Very infomative. Local guides were also superb. - One needed to read audience a little better...too detailed on objects d'art at Louvre, but very knowledgeable for those who were interested in that information. Local guide in London (Georgie) was a hoot. Highly entertaining and great at her job.

The tour was fabulous! We crammed in many major attractions in one week. -Could never have done this individually. The group admission was incredibly helpful. We also received admission to really tough to get to places like dinner on the Eiffel Tower and Versailles.- Line at Versailles was about 1/4 mile, (no lie) but we had timed group admission.

Communication from company was lacking

The tour guide was excellent, hotels were great as was the food. Within one-two weeks of our departure we had the trip to Versailles cancelled due to lack of interest and were also told the Churchill War Rooms was not available. We booked Versailles on our own through the hotel we were told we would be staying at only to find out after we arrived in Europe that our Paris hotel had been changed. Fortunately our tour guide, Greg, intervened and had the private tour company pick us up at our new hotel. The local tour guide in London secured the Churchill War Rooms tickets for us so we were able to do that. If it hadn't been for Greg I think this trip would have been a disaster!

I had most of my tour planning via BUCKET LIST TOURS, and using the online portal application. Jena Morga of Bucket List Tours is A-#1. I had one occasion to call customer service at COLLETTE TOURS and spoke to Sandra Estrada, who was so exceptional and patient with me, giving that I actually send an e-mail to her supervisor to let her know.

This was my first tour ever, so I judged my ability to go and enjoy it based on the fact that it was rated as a '2' in terms of steps and stairs, because I walk with a cane. Maybe if the coach hadn't broken down in front of Mayor of London's house so we walked in the rain to Buckingham Palace and later did the Westminster Abbey tour after being picked up by new bus. The trek to Buckingham was more of a sprint than a walk (I guess due to the rain). A fellow tourist with a 'fit-bit' app announced later on the replacement coach that we had walked 7,780 steps, plus whatever we walked on the Abbey tour. Not a fan of the hotel, at all. Loved, loved, loved Paris. Loved the hotel, loved the Paradis Latin, Eiffel Tower, the opportunity to photograph Arc d'Triumph up close and personal. The Louvre!!!!! Loved the food in London, Windsor, and Paris! Great people in our group; they were thoughtful, kind, helpful and understanding of my physical challanges. Ambulating was way easier in Paris. I even took a taxi that waited for me while I shopped for a carry-on bag. Loads of great information, both historical and cultural, afforded to us by the local tour guides. They were exceptionally knowledgeable, even attracting strays from other tour groups, due to the consistancy with, and obvious love of, the history and art that I have studied and/or absorbed via PBS and other specials on British and French history, culture, and art. The average rating for the accommodations is due to the fact that I was not at all happy with the London hotel. The security staff seemed menacing to me., and would not respond to questions, only poiinting or using a shooing hand gestures. The water dispenser on our floor was out of order, and the houseman filling pitchers for other rooms on my floor totally ignored my request to have my pitcher filled. Finally had to buy from restaurant. The elevatores kept breaking down... thank goodness one-at-a-time. The Marriot lived up to its name, reputation and more.

Two great cities, not a lot included, needed more days.

I enjoyed London and Paris. I liked only having two hotels. I liked the included breakfast every morning. The panoramic tours are a nice introduction to the cities but we should have stopped in some of those places to actually tour it. I think both cities could have had at least one more day. I purchased an extra day in London but not Paris. Even with the extra day in London I feel it was a short and rushed trip. I also was a little disappointed that more wasn’t included in the tour. We were right at the Tower of London and no tour was included. I felt there were several things, in London especially, that could have been added....Greenwich, Covent Gardens, The London Eye, The Shard, Kensington, Stonehenge, a River cruise, etc. I think a little more was included in Paris but more could have been included there as well. A free day for shopping would have been nice. The dinner at the Eiffel Tower and river cruise was the best! The Louvre was on strike while we were there so our tour director took us to Mountmartre. I think that was a great choice. We wouldn’t have gone there otherwise. Also since Norte Dame was closed it would have been nice to have included Saint Chappell. Overall I loved seeing both cities. I would recommend this tour but with the suggestions of 1. Adding more days to each city and 2. Being prepared to pay for lots of extra excursions if you truly want to tour places.

We did this for a fundraiser for the Auxiliary at the hospital! Collette was so supportive with the promotional material all the way to the end of the trip! We absolutely loved our tour guide, Molly Cashen! She was the best! Would recommend anything that she is the tour guide of! Our trip was a short week for London and Paris but we saw a lot in that time! Location of hotel in London was great , right by the London Tower! The one thing I would recommend is a new location for Paris. The Marriott was a great hotel but the location not so much.

Fantastic Trip!

This is my second trip with Collette. Everything from making the reservation to dropping us off at home afterward was wonderful. They even ordered up perfect weather for the trip.🌸🌸 accommodations were excellent. On a side noted we saw Notre-Dame on Apr 2nd and it burned on Apr 13th. After 850 years of history to be one of the last ones to see it left me with a pit in my stomach. I highly recommend Collette.

Well organized tour with a nice personal touch.

The tour manager was always helpful, well organized, and provided individual attention to all members of the tour. The evening dinners and shows were great choices. The only negative was the Marriott Rive Gauche. The location is too far from central Paris and it was ill equipped to handle problems. Our cramped room was stuffy and hot without a window that opened. The technician couldn't fix the problem, and the best the front desk would do was to offer us a fan. Three nights of discomfort. Overall, however, it was a wonderful trip and we would choose Collette again.

Local tour guides were excellent. La Paradis Latin and the Evening in Paris restaurant in the Latin Quarter were highlights. We loved time to browse on our own. The Grange City Hotel in London was fantastic in every way. If we were rating this hotel alone, the score below would be excellent. The score of the Diva Gauche would be poor.

The reason I gave a four star rating is because some things could have been done better, but overall, I did enjoy the tour, and would purchase another tour from Collette. I was disappointed with the photo opportunities in London provided by the local tour guide. Example: we were given the chance to take a picture of the roof of the church were Prince Charles and Princess Diana married, but not a chance to take a photo of the front of the church. Also, no chance to take frontal pictures of Buckingham Palace, only picture from the side. We did, however, have a chance to see a parade of the guards. Paris, I did not really enjoy the Palace of Versailles. Would have liked a chance to photo Champs-Elysees famous arch.

your optional tours were very good with excellent local guides Our tour manager,Christophe Leger didn't seem to be able to handle 44 people. There was no meet and greet the first night and the people didn't wear their name tags{maybe just for two days] .I don't think he melted with us,appeared too anxious.

Unhappy with tour guide.

The trip was wonderful, and the lodgings were very nice. I would have given a 4 or 5 star except for the travel guide. I am glad you are asking for confidential review, as I felt a little intimidated to give the reviews directly to the travel guide at end of trip with our names on them. We were often rushed, and treated like little children. When there were changes in the program, the communication was very poor by the guide. On the night of the dinner at the Eiffel Tower, we literally had to run to get to dinner, and then "run" to get to the river boat cruise for the evening. This was due to the bus driver being caught in traffic, and it was not only very uncomfortable, but not very safe in my opinion. Several of us in the group really are not able to run well. This was my first trip to Europe, and nothing to compare to, but felt as though there could have been oportunity for bathroom breaks or even explanations of what to expect regarding bathroom breaks. The local guides were great regarding this, but not the Tour guide.

Book tours well ahead, or you will pay extra or get left behind.

We have travelled with Collette at least four times. Until this trip we were 100 percent satisfied. We don’t appreciate the vagueness of the plans. We were told upon arrival that the tour to the Louvre, as well as the tour of Versailles was already filled. Nowhere on our brochure did it say that booking tours way ahead of time was necessary. Everyday had us waiting for a bus that was very late, yet we were made to feel rushed, a whole lot of hurry up and wait. Our tour guides were all good, but having to pay extra for a tour of Versailles wasn’t in our plans.

Great trip with Collette tours, I think we seen every landmark, castle and historic site in both London and Paris with our superb tour manager and local guides. We together with other guest felt we were part of Betsy's (our tour manager) family. Also, special thanks to our local tour guides who were well informed and great to be with. Tour was fantastic.

Tour director was fabulous. Hotels and food was excellent. The group was a great bunch. The pick up service was bad. In France there was no one there to meet me. Fortunately the baggage handler was over and above. We waited an hour for someone to show up, called the hotel (I don't speak a word of French) so asking was not an option because no one there spoke English except the baggage handler. He stayed with me an hour and then got me a taxi. Bad experience. No one at Orlando airport either but called twice and he finally came.

the tour was fantastic but the directions were questionable, consequently missed the bus in London. Loved the architecture of France and England. Harrods was wonderful. The food was great.

Great first trip - just the highlights.

Everything went smoothly, from airline reservations to hotel. There was one little glitch - for some reason Collette booked our hotel room(s) as a double - twin beds - but the front desk at Grange City caught it and asked if we had wanted two beds and it was changed. Not a big deal.

We could have used more time at each stop at the landmarks, but that is not Collette's fault - the traffic in London was horrendous and it just seemed to take extra time to get anywhere. Our guide, Jeff Mullen, was knowledgeable, affable and patient. Our local guide in Paris, Natalie was fun and knowledgeable, as well. Nothing to do with Collette, but if the climate continues the way it is, I would not go again in mid-July. It was unpleasantly hot and when there were crowds, most attractions, it was miserable having to stand in line and wait (at Versailles, for an hour), even though we had group priority. I would have liked to been able to stop at the Arc de Triomphe and take some pictures. Not sue if why we didn't was due to time constraints and traffic or they just don't normally stop there - I think that should have definitely been a landmark we would have liked to have seen other than from a moving bus.l

The booking process through Collette was smooth, however, when our flight got delayed coming home it was only then that we found out that there were other flight options. While booking the trip I think they should’ve given me all flight options, no matter the price, and let me chose because the flight they gave us was 3 hours longer than another one available. Also, when we were trapped in a neighboring state Collette gave us no assistance to get home besides offering a taxi that would’ve literally cost over $250.

The trip was lovely and my tour guide, Becky, would receive 20 stars if I could give that to her! The only reason why I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because my mom and I had to add extra days in order to experience some of the things you only drive by during the actual tour. For example, Collette drives by the Tower of London and if we hadn’t booked an extra day we wouldn’t have had time to go in it and see the Crown Jewels. Also the hotel in Paris was REALLY hot and uncomfortable; everyone thought the air conditioning was broken but it wasn’t! In contrast, everything about the London hotel was perfect; they were so hospitable and the location was beyond convenient. Nevertheless, my mom and I are in the process of booking a second trip through Collette so they did something right!

I've been on Collette vacations before and this time I was just not as impressed. A couple of our tour events were cancelled in London due to certain closures which were beyond Collette's control, however, this was disappointing. The hotel, Marriott Rive Gauche, in Paris was horrible as there was no air conditioning. We had to switch rooms and still no air. Room key function was cancelled several times so had to get new keys 3 different times. This caused us to be late in getting ready for activities with the group. Breakfasts were just average with dining area not being cleaned up so as to seat others from our group as they came. Not enough planned activities in London.

Had a wonderful experience touring with Collette!

Nice and modern hotels, although I would have preferred a more accesible one in Paris. The food at the English Pub was bland, and the service was not the best. All other food experiences were very nice and fun. The transportation was excellent, as well as all the tour guides. Our Collette guide was on top of everything, and made our tour run smoothly.

Our favorite memorable experience was watching the Eiffel Tower illuminated at night. What an extraordinary sight! Simply unforgettable!

Tour needs improvement

excursion trips are not up-to-date as mentioned in the brochure. Tour Manager was not very personable but distant, always in a hurry I and several other customers felt as if we are on a race track. Also the Seine River cruise after the Eifel Tour dinner was not included as stated in the Collette brochure. Tour needs improvement

Wonderful time, ready for my nex vacation

Very well organized. Took the stress out of traveling. Picked us up at the airport in Paris. Arranged everything for the train ride from Paris to London. Luggage was taken care of. Tour excursions took us to the front of the line. Had great local tour guides. Places to eat that were arranged was fantastic. Got to eat dinner at the Eiffel Tower restaurant. Can't wait for my next vacation. Will use Collette again. Referred them to my co-workers and friends. One co-worker already booked his vacation through Collette.

The tour went really well except schedule on the first day. No hotel room available until 7 hours after we arrived. Up more than 24 hours, we we were worn out. Plus no rep from Collette till that evening.

We were happy with the pick up and take us to airport and then be there when we arrive late at night. to take us home. We like the package that is sent out with everything included down to luggage tags. (helpful) The cost of the trip was good and the airline worked out well.

Nice Trip and Locations, However lacking in spots.

The tour guide was not what we had expected. She was nice, however not prepared or knowledgable about many parts of the trip. This led to some misconceptions and disappointments by many of the group.

Excellent service, many historic sites visited. Really enjoyed Londons tower bridge district and of course, Paris. The river cruise and Eiffel Tower dinner were just great. Many beautiful memories of a great trip. Hotels in both cities were very good and our guide *personal details removed by Feefo* was superb in every way. This is the 5th trip I have had with Collette. I always have enjoyed every trip. The guides are very informed and organized. It makes me feel safe and I love the freedom of having someone else in charge so I can just enjoy. Can't wait until my next trip!

London hotel was great! Paris was not so good. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy. Did not want to walk around the neighborhood at night. Most memorable was the cruise on the Seine River and the Eiffel Tower lighting up.

This was the first time ever using Collette, and I'm sure we'll do it again in the future! The tour/service was completely protessional and ********** was the best tour organizer I have had the pleasure of being with. He was no-nonsense and very organized, which kept us all on track. The other tour guides that were with us at Versailles and West Minister, were excellent as well. My wife and I thank you. **********

We'll travel with Collette again!

The Collette tour to London/Paris was our first one with the company. We were delighted with all aspects of the tour: the hotels, the transportation, the sites to see, the tour guide and local guides.

Our local tour guide for London got us to the front of seeing the old guard, band, and horses, marching from the guard-changing. I never thought I'd be able to see any of it, having seen the crowds, and being 5'3"! Loved our tours to Notre Dame and Versailles with our local guide in Paris. She was fabulous and so knowledgeable.

The old switeroo

Tour promise lived up to. 2nd trip with Collette and same experience; switched hotels at last minute and 2nd option in Paris was not good.

We had planned extra days post tour in London based on the hotel we were slated to stay at, they switched hotels. Sub par hotel, and location.Would have loved more free time post visits to site. We had hours to kill and were not allowed just a few minutes to explore around the exhibits, such as gift shops or neighboring villages.Tour manager was sympathetic but claimed he had no flexibility due lease time on our bus.

Good but not great

The door-to-door was great. The tour itself was hectic at times, and the tour director didn't always seem to have control over his group. We saw the sights as promised, which were good, the locations of our hotels were great, and the restaurants, bistros and pubs fantastic. However, this tour out of all of our Collette tours was just not as organized. All in all enjoyable but not as good as others.

Collette was always available while we had trouble with airlines and baggage. They were in contact with transportation from airport when we were delayed and did not abandon us. Tour manager constant looking for our luggage. Kept us informed about where to be, what to do, and flights back home. After return continued help on lost luggage and insurance reimbursemant. Other than luggage (airline issue) great trip.

Great trip but lost bag!

Loved London /Paris. Tour guides great. Not totally thrilled with Paris hotel- twin beds for my husband & me. The shuttle service left our bag on the car and we never got it back. The hotels were very nice but so far from the areas we would have liked to ...

The hotels were very nice but so far from the areas we would have liked to tour that it was an $120 cab ride back one evening. The entrance to the tube in London was out of the way and we couldn't find it until the last night preventing us from exploring the city as we had planned as first time visitors.

Our tour manager was just that- a manager rather than a guide. She was very nice but we were left on our own with instructions to " call" if we needed anything! The hotel employees were unable to help us! We loved the tours and dinners!

Upon landing in London at midnight, there was a driver waiting for us and this was much appreciated as our flight had been rebooked. The guide did a great job of dealing with everyone and made sure all was going right.

Felt that an addt day in London and an addt day in Paris would of been beneficial and given us a chance to do more sightseeing. Seemed a little too rushed. The hotel in Paris was nice but I was disappointed as I had brought my granddaughter to Europe for her first trip and we had NO view from our hotel room window. Hotel in London was a good choice and their breakfast was wonderful. The breakfast in Paris was just ok; would of preferred to eat in the dining room of the hotel like we did in London. Have traveled with Collette before and would travel with them again.

Collette has excellent tour managers. The itinerary is not too much but enough to see main sites. If I want to do more the TM is a great help getting us connected with all information we need.

Booking with Collette was easy, you let me know what was going on with emails every once in a while, the tour director was great-she was very helpful, the hotels were fine, the only complaint I have was at both hotels in London and Paris the breakfast was laking,I've had better ones in cheaper hotels.

The US group was most accommodating in assisting me with before and after tour arrangements. The only issue I have is that I was not advised that my personal rewards from my hotel rewards partners would not apply until I received my travel documents at which time it was too late to do anything about it. I could have reserved my Marriott Paris hotel myself and received my credits as well as my upgrades that apply for membership.

Paris accommodations left something to be desired. Our tour guide, Ms. Bisbash, was excellent and despite being ill, gave everyone first class service. She called us all by name and accommodated everyone's needs as best possible. I did think the "tour" would be more than a drive by of most of the areas. Fortunately, we had enough free time to go back and see most of the highlights we breezed past.

from start to finish, local booking agent, assigned tour guide and planned activities where excellent. Our tour guide was very attentive and knowledgeable. the only regret was that both my husband and I wish we could have spent one or two day more in each city.

Our tour guide was great. The guides from Paris and London were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Our complaint is explained below.

We thought we would have time to see each of the places mentioned on the tour guide. However, we just drove by and never stopped. There is no way we would have been able to go back to the places on our own. There just wasn't time when you consider the amount of time it would take to get back to those places. We were already there on the tour bus. Getting off for 10 or 15 minutes would have at least given us the feeling that we had seen those places.

I like travelling with Collette. Have done so several times. I like that I can have some say in what flights I want to take. The rooms are usually very nice but sometimes they are a little too remote. The guides are usually exceptional. I very much appreciate the limo service. This is a wonderful extra.

Really enjoyed the tour of the Eiffel Tour. Wish I had more time there. Hotels were good but breakfast in Paris was not acceptable. Bacon was raw. I was looking forward to the play in London. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is not appropriate for a group of older adults. I did not waste my time attending. The tour guide was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and great personality. Food in the London restaurant was so so. Service was terrible. The waitress lost our order. The food was slow in coming out and was nothing out of the ordinary. Whole thing was terribly disorganized on the part of the restaurant. Really liked the location of the London Hotel. Breakfast was good.

Fun on trip to London and Paris
